I never said Apple was more free. Although I think Windows is absolutely awful, an anti-user experience. I like Linux and I've run that on my home hardware since I was a teen. My work provides Apple computers. Hardware options aside, MacOS is a nicer experience than what Windows has become, and as to my points, I think it's also easier to install and use free software on it. I hated the keyboard on the previous mac I was given so I worked on my personal Dell machine. The difference in setup between MacOS and Linux is pretty minimal. The different to Windows is large and unkempt.
