- withinboredom 3y agoThe problem is that it’s a self-fulfilling prophecy either way. The government can’t do anything without money but it can with money. One of the biggest problems in the US is that federal taxes are so high, that there is barely any room for state and local taxes (where you’d get the most bang for your buck) to do anything useful.
