I miss the CyanogenMod days. I've been really disappointed with lineage OS's approach to things - specifically if you ask for help with any issue and mention the device is rooted, they refused to offer any support regardless of whether or not the issue occurs on unrooted devices. It's such a 180 from the earlier days when installing SuperSu was on both supported and expected. (And without rooting, I can't fix the CTS profile check that prevents things like banking apps, netflix, games, etc. from working properly, so it's still very much needed if you're going to run lineage OS and use your phone like a smartphone.)
