- benglish11 3y agoShe was sold as a bride when she was 12 so essentially a slave. Her “husband” seems to have abandoned her though but I don’t imagine getting a hysterectomy or tubal ligation for a destitute woman in rural Uganda is easy to come by.

- jncfhnb 3y agoIdk man, she’s getting gynecologist attention. if cost is the limiting factor, that’s not acknowledged. Maybe it is the limiting factor. Maybe it’s not.

Would it have been so difficult to tie her tubes? > Doctors reportedly advised Nabatanzi to stop having children after she had her last child three years ago. She said a doctor informed her he “cut my uterus from inside.” Jesus. It is not even clear whether she consented this time around.
