Apple doesn't allow you to change macOS cursor anymore
- macintux 3y agoThis apparently needs to be a Tell HN so there’s some context. The link and the title are not directly correlated that I can tell, and I can’t find any issues in the repository that look relevant.
- cratermoon 3y agoEspecially because that repo hasn't been updated in ~4 years and the link to the authors site at http://www.alexzielenski.com/ http://www.alexzielenski.com/ is dead.
- throwaway1249 3y agoYes, it's my impression that the submission link should be https://github.com/alexzielenski/Mousecape/issues/219 https://github.com/alexzielenski/Mousecape/issues/219
- kspyy 3y agoMaybe because all of these cursors reek of the 80s/90s. Besides size and speed do people really care these days?
- gymbeaux 3y agoOn a similar note, I remember someone posted on HN like a year ago a link to these custom cursors you could download and the comments were full of people talking them up… anyone know what I’m talking about?
