Scraped WordPress Plugin Dataset
- jcmp 3y agoUnhappy with the offical Wordpress Repositroy to gather information i scraped it through their API. Maybe some people manage to find great plugins with the dataset[1] or opportunietes since there a lot of unmaintained plugins. some first insights were: - 40% of all plugins "died" - people tend to rate always with 5 stars and sometimes with 1 star. - security is the most downloaded tag, however there are not so many security plugins - seo realted tag are gettig combined the most attention [1] https://github.com/jcmpagel/wordpress-dataset https://github.com/jcmpagel/wordpress-dataset
