I think the strangest design decision is not even EyeSight display, but the battery pack design. The whole thing is so insanely overbuilt, with the metal frame and the battery itself weighting only half of the entire device. It looks completely align compared to the Nitecore powerbank I use for hiking trips, which packs 10000 mAh into a 150 gram shell.
