- fransje26 3y agoTrue. Nowadays we have de-icing system that need to be turned off within 5 minutes of encountering dry air, to avoid catastrophic disintegration. "We encountered dry air, but otherwise, all is well." You cannot stop progress! https://archive.is/9BWCD https://archive.is/9BWCD
- lloeki 3y agoYeah, although AF 447 would like to have a word. ~ one minute freeze of Pitot tubes caused a jump out of normal law and then the dramatic event unfolded.
