I have both headsets and AVP is way more intuitive when you get used to it. I think you're reading too much into this author's penchant for exaggeration. The Quest 3 UX is still very bad in some places and it is very buggy still. So is the AVP. This is all still early days. The last thing I'll say is that the Q3 hand tracking is absolutely terrible compared to the AVP. It's not even close.
