- janalsncm 3y agoI browse HN on my phone. Many of the linked articles are guilty, but they contain interesting content. I’m not even asking to be given content for free. I’m willing to pay, but it’s not possible for me to subscribe to every website that happens to be linked. And paying doesn’t guarantee no ads. I just cancelled my NYT subscription because there were too many distracting ads jammed into the articles.
