- giigoit 3y agoI think most of us have worked with men who fit this description. Why they are so drawn to the tech industry is anyone's guess. It almost certainly discourages actual women too. I mean just imagine turning up to some "Women In Tech" event and finding it's full of men pretending to be women, and that these men get celebrated for their misogynistic portrayal. Ridiculous.
- nonrandomstring 3y agoIndeed. There were some subtle surprises in this episode, which I am not in (but I was in the edit suite making some cuts). One that comes to mind is a different kind of "fake", where women are hired to meet diversity quotas or for appearances, but end up in "fake jobs" that are far removed from the job description they signed up for. That's horribly frustrating, especially when they are actually the most qualified person in the room.
