I don't have a separate office from my personal computer and I had to set boundaries with my wife. Not that she'd ask me to do stuff, but that just because I'm home doesn't mean that I'm available for idle chit chat. I also had to explicitly tell her that if I'm looking annoyed, it's because I'm deep in thought. I don't need a hug or to be told a joke or something to lighten my mood. I need to be left the fuck alone.
