Having watched decades of companies start and then succeed or die based on uncontrollable situations, the only thing I found is you will only succeed if you truly have a good model or product and a niche. You can't succeed if you don't have those and if you do you'd just go for it because the impetus is there. Everything else becomes secondary. It's the same as trying to time the stock market.
