Before You Agree: What data does TikTok collect before Terms of Service?
- ddxv 3y agoJust want to share my flow for seeing clear text the data coming in and out of TikTok on an android emulator. Instructions here: https://github.com/ddxv/mobile-network-traffic https://github.com/ddxv/mobile-network-traffic Article with some request/responses here: https://jamesoclaire.com/2024/02/02/what-data-does-tiktok-send-out-before-terms-of-service/ https://jamesoclaire.com/2024/02/02/what-data-does-tiktok-se... I would love any feedback people have, I've been wanting to look into this for a long time, and of course the data they are collecting there is not particularly interesting. I'm curious if anyone has any ideas for decrypting the `hex dump` binary / base64 data (it's not base64, but does look similar).
