> We should be lowering government spending and lowering taxes, not trying to spend more. After seeing the inefficiency and incompetence of government bureaucracies for so many years, I’ve really come around to this idea. I don’t think we should have a libertarian free-for-all, because that carries its own problems. But I do think a great deal more policy could be effectuated through market-based mechanisms and private rights of action instead of clueless and corrupt functionaries.
