Elon Musk's unlikely foe in $56B pay defeat: US thrash metal drummer
- ChumpGPT 3y ago>Many law firms that represent shareholders keep a stable of investors they can work with to bring cases, says Eric Talley, who teaches corporate law at Columbia Law School. They might be pension funds with a broad range of stock holdings but they are also often individuals like Tornetta. So a law firm that represents a large Investor or Group used this guy to sue Musk....That's interesting...
- Zigurd 3y agoIt is a formality in class actions in some states. Headlines like this are clickbait. I'm potentially in a class for suing a car maker for a defective part. I suppose there will be someone like this guy the lawyers have to recruit. Nobody will care who it is unless there is a problem with eligibility or something.
- herewulf 3y agoYeah, but this is the most METAL class action ever. \m/ Disclaimer: I haven't actually listened to the dude's band. The mainstream misclassifies "metal" all the time.
