Hey Jared, post wanders a bit but you bring up some good points. Definitely right about investors. At AngelPad, the refrain was always "product, solution, team, traction", but in terms of securing a commitment, who else is in the round matters WAY more than anything else. Traction matters too, but it's a distant second behind who else is investing. Just proves how much opportunity exists for those willing to stick their necks out and think independently, even in this world of supposedly very smart and "rational" people.
