“I felt safe while he was presiden"
Honestly, wild to me, wild. It's mind blowing to me that Trump made anyone feel safe. From throwing paper towels at people to completely bumbling a 100-year pandemic, I never felt that he was competent nor that he had even the slightest care for a single person other than himself.
- jfengel 3y agoHe attacked Democrats, and that's what they're most afraid of. They believe that Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden are both dastardly criminals, that Democrats are inviting more criminals over the border and paying them lavish sums, that every election they lose is stolen, and that drag queens are grooming their children. Among many others. By affirming that their fears are real, and harassing the people they're afraid of, he makes them feel safe. Their fears are entirely unfounded, but an enormous network exists to drive them into people's heads -- including all of his supporters reinforcing those fears for each other on social media.
