Could the lack of sunshine play a major role? I grew up in Florida and have sisters, they spent time outdoors and I did not. We’re now in our 30s and my skin looks the best. I don’t have a good diet, but I do avoid the sun and alcohol. I also have an extremely basic skincare routine (exfoliate twice a week, use moisturizer every night). I don’t doubt diet plays a role but there’s a giant flaming ball outside that gives people radiation burns, if you live closer to the equator your chance of getting radiation burns increase.
