- goodSteveramos 3y agoThe climate was much less sensitive to CO2 before the Quaternary because the feedback loops that drive the Ice Ages go away at higher temperatures. Once the current climate crisis is averted and our understanding of climate is much greater, we may realize just how close we came to Snowball Earth.
