At first I wanted to roll my eyes at the pearl clutching and move on but it actually pushed me in the opposite direction. I want more Ai to automate the entire web, to push out us humans so that we can stop these cynical platforms from creating more anti-social, anti-moral and obsessive internet personas. Or that now increasingly we all have to politically be pawns to certain influencers, heaven forbid you have an opinion of your own as that means less money for that poor poor influencer. Maybe the internet could have been different, the early days of it certainly showed this, where even places where anti-social and anti-moral people met, could to a degree be human.
