Ask HN: Bitwarden alternatives?
A few years ago I switched from LastPass to Bitwarden and have been mostly happy with it. Recently, Bitwarden seems to be running slower and having more sync issues. What password manager do you recommend today?
- souparm 3y agoBitwarden has been good to me till date. What exactly is the issue?
- RyanShook 3y agoI'm running Chrome on an M2 Mac and Safari of iPhone 15 Pro. I keep everything up to date but it's taking Bitwarden 5-10 seconds each time I try to load a saved password and sync between devices isn't staying up-to-date.
- latchkey 3y agoSeconded, it has been fantastic for me and recently has actually gotten better!
- max_ 3y agoI am sorry about your experience. I don't think anything else comes close to Bitwarden. Maybe you need an update? You could also let support know about your problems or open an issue on thier GitHub.
