I've had this happen too, with almost the same responses. It was even more obvious because I was able to see the reflection of their lcd backlight glowing across their face as they switched back and forth to answer the questions. I just directly asked if they were using an external resource to answer my questions. They said yes as if it was normal. I thanked them for their time as that was my last question.
