I'm perfectly capable of thinking that Dr. Gay violated standards that a rank and filer would be in deep trouble for, and that Christopher Rufo is a wrong'un. For me the source of the allegations, as long as they're proven, isn't really the issue. Opposition research is a thing, you don't get out of a scandal because the people who dug up the dirt are scandalous themselves.
