Well, learning how to ask specific questions would be a start... Skills are different and most don't actually take anywhere near 10,000 hours to learn. Figure out exactly what you want to learn/build and what the end goal is. Is it to make money with said skill? Is it to become a community expert? Is it for a personal hobby that few would even know/care about?
