Seeking Advice on Real-World Projects in JavaScript and React for Job Readiness
As a self-taught developer in JavaScript and React, I've successfully completed a variety of beginner-level projects, including typical 'clone' projects found on YouTube. While these have been great for learning the basics, they seem far removed from the complexities and scale of real-world applications, which I assume aren't typically built in just a few hours.
I'm keen to step up my game and tackle projects that more accurately reflect professional development work. What kinds of projects should I be looking at to transition from a beginner to an intermediate/advanced level? I'm especially interested in guidance on finding impactful projects (open-source or otherwise) that can both challenge me and enhance my portfolio for future job opportunities. Any pointers on where to find such projects or how to identify them would be immensely helpful.
