Unpopular opinion: multiple monitors are a meme for most uses and almost everyone is better off having a single screen and using their fingers to move the viewport accross virtual desktop spaces.
- whynotminot 3y agoNot just an unpopular opinion, it’s also not supported by data. There are a decent number of studies that show that multiple monitors increases productivity. Iirc though, there are diminishing returns fairly quickly beyond dual monitors. Me personally, the sweet spot is three total screens.
