Copper price rises forced the switch in coinage
around the world to aluminum/steel.
Perhaps some aluminum alloy with low resale value
and high conductivity could replace the copper?
- Doxin 3y agoThe problem with aluminum for wires as I understand it is that it's less flexible. There's this whole debacle about copper-clad aluminum wires getting used in houses and starting fires after a while.
