Despite thinking that those were generally good ideas, I'd still call that a camp.
- defrost 3y agoA couple of tents is a camp. More so if there's a fire and a bit of a sing a long. The implication being pressed in social media by anti-vaxxers was that it was equivilent to a Boer War internment camp, a German work camp, a Nazi death camp, etc. That was, of course, just silly.
- anonymouskimmer 3y agoSure. Mandatory quarantine is still serious business though, and deserves to be seen as such. Two weeks can be a long time, even over a life time. Some of these camps also facilitated spread among the denizens (particularly the ones set up in hotels). That's worth remembering.
