- randomdata 3y agoHence "was CTO". The business in question was sold to the competitor in 2021. While the details of the transaction were undisclosed, said competitor received a funding round shortly before the deal was done for an amount far less than YC and friends invested in wholesalad's company. Needless to say it was almost certainly sold for pennies on the dollar. Hard to win over farmers when you don't understand them.
