ASCII Theater
- stormed 3y agoThe website is giving me an aneurysm to look at, but I did have a laugh sitting through 10 minutes of the Barbie Movie in my terminal. The direct command from the website is: ssh -o StrictHostKeyChecking=no watch.ascii.theater
- roveywade 3y agoThis is wild haha, never seen the general public interact with SSH like this. The resolution is surprisingly good ahah
- mtillman 3y agoThis is my new background.

- vantassell 3y agoReminds me of that old star wars ascii site. https://www.asciimation.co.nz https://www.asciimation.co.nz

- Levitating 3y agotelnet towel.blinkenlights.nl
- threesevenths 3y agoWith colour using IPv6
- wkat4242 3y agoI think that's a lot more impressive as it's all hand made and 7 bit ASCII only.
- ChrisArchitect 3y agoThe stuff the devs at mschf while up continues to impress. Like the sheer effort.
- Levitating 3y agoHas this been hugged to death?
- nicbou 3y agoVLC can do this, if I recall correctly. I remember watching a video in a terminal once, some time ago. What about the sound though?
- mobeets 3y agoCan anyone explain how this works? I made this app that converts video to emojis (https://gifmoji.github.io/ https://gifmoji.github.io/) and would love to know if I could somehow do a similar thing over ssh (so with emojis rather than ascii art)
- dabber 3y agoThis is the first I'm seeing https://mschf.com/ https://mschf.com/ and I'm awe struck. This is art and my favorite thing in a long time.
- SushiHippie 3y agoNon 24bit/256 color? Or is my terminal setup messed up?
