Many people would be surprised by how high tech farming has become over the last decade or so. In the next few decades I wouldn't be surprised if most of the farming done in the US will be done from an office building. Last year I went to a farm where they had a guy sitting in a room with 5 screens watching tractors farm fields. The cameras, sensors radars, mapping ect. were all powered by GPS. The data is also sent to John Deere and they will do diagnostics on your equipment for you while you are using it and let you know if you need to do anything.
