- BenFranklin100 3y agoIt’s nearly an impossible task to stop the onslaught of deepfakes, a task that only gets harder as the technology gets cheaper and better. The solution in the end will be some means to authenticate a video or photo before distribution. Those photos or videos not authenticated will then be nothing more than more realistic versions of stick figures with boobs drawn by adolescent boys fifty years ago.
