  I'd be a tad bit concerned about a patent troll obtaining Oracle's IP if they ever go down, though. Oh, the joy of having to choose the lesser of two evils.

    Let's worry about the first, "real" evil right now, rather than a hypothetical one in the future.

    Oracle already goes after the small players who don't have a patent portfolio of their own, and patent trolls tend to avoid the bigger players anyway. It could be worse, but not much worse.
