For participants in this study, the eligibility is: >Have quadriplegia (limited function in all 4 limbs) due to spinal cord injury or amyotrophic lateral scler

For participants in this study, the eligibility is: >Have quadriplegia (limited function in all 4 limbs) due to spinal cord injury or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and are at least 1-year post-injury (without improvement) These are people with very poor quality of life and the help this could potentially provide is life changing in the best possible way. The reward almost certainly outweighs the risk for everyone involved.
