I don't get the strategy. Partner with Perplexity one week then introduce your own OpenAI based mini-search the next, and say it's the new product focus?
- swalling 3y agoThis isn’t that unusual. Google has both their own search app on iOS and also partners to be the default in Safari, Firefox etc.
- dbish 3y agoThis is more like if Google made a big announcement about making Bing available in chrome (and never even had Google search) then the next week said that they’re launching their own search that makes it so you never need to use search in Chrome
