Is Google reputable? Some ads even contain malware...

- ijhuygft776 3y agoI don't need to, I used to experience it... But to tell you the truth, ChatGPT's quality went down much more quickly.
- Cody-99 3y agoGoogle news seems pretty reputable; of course it is more of a news aggregator so that must be kept in mind. >Some ads even contain malware... Yeah but what does that have to do with this though? Google isn't getting a kickback from the people running the malware like the 'news website' that was seized was. Google doesn't want malware to be delivered from ads and takes many steps to mitigate it. To compare that to the direct kickback from drug and stolen ID marketplaces is silly IMO.

- stonogo 3y agoDarknetlive was a news site. An ancestor comment here described a news site as 'reputable' and the comparison to Google was made, asking if Google is 'reputable.' Since Darknetlive is a news site and Google does not engage in journalism (aka 'reporting') I don't think the comparison is apt.
