I used Copilot for a short period of time. It was super fun having it autocomplete code and most of the time and I just had to change a few things. This was on a codebase and language I was pretty familiar with so it just saved me a bit of time. The issue is that due to the law of large numbers some of the bad code it frequently produced found it's way to production. Eventually I caught myself debugging and fixing more issues introduced by Copilot than my own, issues that wouldn't make myself. But I think this was majorly an UX problem because often I triggered a completion without desiring or even noticing it due to typing fast. I was using Copilot in Neovim.
