- pvg 3y agoThey only count as dupes if they've had significant discussion and some front page dwell time.
- dang 3y agoThat's true. But the other one did have several comments, and we'll merge thither in this case since that one was the first of the bunch.

- sg47 3y agoEU's biggest contribution to technology is the stupid popup we see on every website.
- skyyler 3y agoYou're mad at the wrong people, aren't you? Couldn't those websites operate just fine without cookies and tracking?
- Moldoteck 3y agoMost of the sites could just not display it if they don't use ad tracking, but you are mad at the regulation instead of blaming the exact sites you are using...
- cheriot 3y agoDid Amazon ever explain why they even wanted this acquisition? I don't think iRobot has tech they need for wear house automation. Is it about owning every home device? Maybe they'll turn the vacuum into a security robot to integrate with Ring /s
- y04nn 3y agoHurting the robot vacuum cleaner competition, I find it extremely far fetch. Which competition to begin with ? The only competition I'm aware of are Chinese ones, developed and build in China. I wonder if Chinese influence/lobbying on the EU as played here. Also, if Amazon is a big enough retail store to restrict the competition of the entire robot vacuum cleaner competition, we have another problem. I even doubt that most robot vacuum cleaners are bought online.
