I would like to see regulation on notifications to address reaction driven addictions as opposed to an outright ban. Classical conditioning is clearly the issue at hand but opponents are not referencing the proven science enough. If we don’t teach children how to use these platforms in moderation now they will certainly not be educated on how to use them responsibly in adulthood. I’m not against an outright ban totally but we are missing educational opportunities with what is likely an unenforceable attack on the problem.
