This is an absurd claim; vinyl LP records are just one counter-example. Some collectors will actually buy the vinyl disc from one source and then get a sleeve in near-mint condition from somewhere else. Does anyone buy used Apple packaging by itself?
- macintux 3y agoFrom the context, it seems clear the author is talking about Apple products.
- volleygman180 3y agoThe sleeve isn't packaging though. You don't throw it away after opening it - it's a part of the product. Same as CDs or cassettes.

- smachiz 3y agoYes, look at ebay - there are plenty of boxes for apple gear for sale. There are collectors, just like vinyl.
