I was not thinking VS Code or anything in particular. I just wrote IDE/Text editors in general because programming has 2 major aspects, one is writing code and another one is running it. I see so many advancements in open source softwares that are used to write code but see barely any(feature wise) in the software that runs the code. all new code running softwares just say fast, faster and fastest and few like Warp are there but there are not OSS and too slow to deliver
