What do you want the community to do? Pitch in with money from their day jobs so a gamedev savior can come in and make things render slightly faster? At the expense of hideous unmaintable code that only a gamedev genius could understand ?
- pid-1 3y agoSome open source projects hire full time developers with donations / sponsor money (e.g. python, zig). I'm not saying that's the correct approach for GTK, just noting is not an absurd idea.
- coldtea 3y agoYeah, because there aren't well maintained pro rendering engines /s And FOSS devs always create non-hideous maintanable code that everybody understands /s
