How well would this work as a format for backup software on something like an LTO tape (more linear access and less random access)?
- dmitrygr 3y agoTape is more-or-less meant to be accessed linearly. SQLite is not designed for that and will not perform well. But nothing stops you from making such an archive and sticking it onto tape, later retrieving it, and opening it from a medium that handles seeks well.
