AI is the current "IN" fad. There will be something else coming along soon as the next fad. Remember "Gateways", "Portals", "Push", "P2P", "Fuzzy Logic", etc,

AI is the current "IN" fad. There will be something else coming along soon as the next fad. Remember "Gateways", "Portals", "Push", "P2P", "Fuzzy Logic", etc, etc??? Those were all fads in their day. AI will be the same and fade away into the background.

To be fair, most of those things ended up becoming core infrastructure over the ensuing decades, but hype is always frontloaded.
