I’m of the opinion that “wearables” don’t provide enough convenience over just pulling a smartphone out of your pocket to justify themselves. Wristwatches only overtook pocket watches because they got to the point that they were comparable in function. The physics of reading off a screen is going to keep smartwatches in the fashion category unless there are some startrek tier breakthroughs.
