- spacechild1 3y agoGood list! Personally, I would add the following: Cream-colored ponies. Crisp apple strudels Doorbells. Sleigh bells Schnitzel with noodles Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings
- andrewstuart 3y agoNo doubt when you are feeling sad you simply remember some of these things and then you don't feel so bad.
- spacechild1 3y agoAlso helps when getting bitten by a dog.
- nunez 3y agobut fr though schnitzel with spaetzl is delicious; highly recommend!
- spacechild1 3y agoIn Austria this would be a rather strange combination :)
- nunez 3y agoin the US, every German restaurant i've been to serves this combination! thanks for saving me from some embarrassment!
- spacechild1 3y agoHa, I just googled and Schnitzel with Spätzle seems to be German thing indeed! The traditional side dish for "Wiener Schnitzel" would be either rice, potatoes (with parsley) or Viennese potato salad, but french fries is also very common (although a bit frowned upon in traditional restaurants). Side note: real "Wiener Schnitzel" must be made with veal meat! However, many restaurants offer "Schnitzel Wiener Art" (Viennese-style Schnitzel) instead, which is made with pork (or chicken) and therefore much cheaper.
- nunez 3y agoWow, incredible tips. Thank you!
