Indeed, highly recommended!
At Vancouver Hack Space we recently upgraded from LaserCAD (terrible software that came with our 80W CO2 laser cutter ~10 years ago) to LightBurn. It's been a joy.
- jacquesm 3y agoBeware some possible subtle radius compensation bugs in LightBurn, I haven't nailed it down exactly yet and when I do I'll contact them but the inside/outside detection doesn't always work with imported SVG files. This bit me quite badly and it took a while to figure out what was going wrong. Choosing 'optimize toolpath' seems to cure it for now as a workaround.
- djmips 3y agoThere's a Vancouver connection here. Jason Dorie, who started LightBurn is from Vancouver! You might already know that.
