"Deceptive" Clickbait Headlines: Relevance, Intentions, and Lies
- jruohonen 3y agoThe pragmatic angle is interesting also for practicing journalists. A lot of literature also on whether they work; even without skimming some of it through, I would assert that they indeed do work in the short-run, although they may deteriorate trust in the long-run, provided that readers are able to see them, which is far from being certain with sophisticated wit.
