Ah so traction control plus surface grip estimation via cameras? Current traction control is already pretty good though.
- londons_explore 3y agoWell clearly not good enough if people are managing to wear out their tyres... I suspect if you put a high speed camera on a tyre while someone was driving aggressively, you'd see many inches of sliding with every accelerate/brake.
- erik_seaberg 3y agoDoes traction control do anything if all of your drive wheels are slipping equally? Can it even tell?
- SkyPuncher 3y agoYou don’t need that, you just need to limit the initial torque. That’s what eating up this tires. Jumping well past initial grip, then having traction control kick in after the fact.
